Kehaulani Vegas, soon to be Rust on July 22; is currently Paige Haderlie’s assistant. Kehau is in the process of obtaining her real estate licenses and is looking forward to becoming a broker with ERA Fleisher.
Kehau has grown up in the valley since her middle school years. Kehau was born in Hawaii and travels back to visit family quite often. She finds her passion in the sand playing beach volleyball and on the court as a volleyball coach. Kehau is currently the Head Volleyball Coach for Glenwood Springs High School, and is also the Assistant Beach Volleyball Coach at Colorado Mesa University.
Kehau graduated from Kean University in New Jersey in the year 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Administration with a focus in Recreation. Kehau was active in her college; being captain and a starter for their volleyball team, participating as a volunteer for the athletics department, and attending as many sporting events as possible. Before attending Kean University, Kehau attended Orange Coast College in Southern California studying Kinesiology and playing volleyball as starting setter and captain for the OCC Pirates. Kehau truly traveled from coast to coast for the college years.
Following graduation at Kean University, Kehau became the Assistant Volleyball Coach for Princeton University. This is where Kehau fell in love with the coaching game. With Princeton, her responsibilities were endless; from recruiting, to practice planning, to game warmups; Kehau was involved in it all. One of her highlight moments at Princeton was the 10 days the team traveled down to Nicaragua to play against the Nicaraguan national team, and running a youth volleyball camp on the beaches of San Juan Del Sol.
Kehau ventured back to Colorado to be close to family and start her life here in the valley. She has chosen her profession to be both in Real Estate and a coach both at the High School and College levels.
